ASME B16.9; ASME B16.28 or MSS SP-43 where applicable to the selected fitting.
Material grades
Carbon steel ASTM A234 WPB; low-temperature A420 WPL6; stainless steel A403 WP304L / WP316L; alloy grades to specification.
Dimensions and wall
Specify nominal sizes and schedule or wall thickness. Both ends must be stated for reducing fittings.
Connection
Buttweld ends; weld preparation to the applicable piping specification.
